Physician Update from Dr. Courtney Bowen:

It is with heavy heart that I am writing to notify you that I have chosen to relocate to Huntsville and take on a core faculty position with the Crestwood Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program. I appreciate the trust you have shown in me for the last 6 years, and I am honored to have been your physician and friend. Caring for patients is truly my life calling, and I am looking forward to continuing that passion in a different role, training and mentoring the next generation of family physicians. After October 22, 2024, I will no longer provide primary care at Medical Associates of the Shoals, PC.

My desire is to make this transition as easy for you as possible and to leave you in good hands. For that reason, I am pleased that Dr. Cameron Bonds will be joining Medical Associates. Please note that Susanna Hall, CRNP will continue to practice and care for my patients under the supervision of Dr. Bonds. Those of you who have already experienced Dr. Bonds’ professionalism know him to be a highly qualified and compassionate provider.

I have no doubt that Dr. Bonds, Susanna, and the Medical Associates team will continue to provide you with compassionate and comprehensive health care. Should you have any questions regarding this transition, please feel free to call the office.

I am truly grateful for your support and your kindness. I wish you good health and happiness.

Sincerely,

Courtney Bowen, MD
